My Vivofit and Billie's Last Day

My mom said to me yesterday, ”there is a Mother’s Day and a Father’s Day but no Daughter’s day, so happy Daughter’s day!”  In the bag was a Garmin Vivofit.  I promptly handed it back to her saying I don’t need a GPS and she said that this is not what this is.  She said it is a pedometer, calculates how many calories you have burned in a day, even how well you are sleeping.  She said the sleeping feature is the main reason she bought it for me because I have my days and nights mixed up.  Take right now for example, it’s 1:00 am and I’m sitting here writing my blog but I won’t post it until later this morning when I’ve had more sleep to proof read what I wrote.

Gosh my arm looks pale in that picture.  When is it going to be warm enough to lay outside and get some sun?

Olathe Medical Center’s Emergency’s Department lost a great member of their team yesterday.  Billie Lay is the best housekeeper in the department and she had to take an extended leave of absence.  Yesterday was her last day.  A retired nurse and even nurses that had the day off came into work to see her on her last day.  To me that shows how much Billie meant to everyone and how appreciative they were of her outstanding work.

Don’t for get to look at my website at www.signaturedesignvideo.com.
