My First Blog

Hi, my name is Jennifer Bono.  I have started a new business called Signature Design Video.  You can look at the website at www.signaturedesignvideo.com.  I create photo slideshows for clients.  I have been creating photo slideshows for over 5 years now and I have a passion for them.  To be able to share in a person's or couple's memorable moments throughout their lives is so remarkable to me.  And then to be able to preserve these events for forever is amazing.  Here is a photo slideshow I created for a couple's 1st Anniversary.

My interest in photography started while I was in high school and I spent as much time in the darkroom as I possibly could.  I came so close to convincing my parents to put a darkroom in our basement but it didn't work out.  Good thing because digital was just starting out on the consumer market my sophomore year in college.  I’ll show you some of my darkroom stuff in my next blog.

I started working for Rock Chalk Video Productions, the video department for Kansas Athletics, Inc., just for the Kansas Relays in 2003.  I thought it would be a two-day job and that would be that.  After those two ten-hour days I changed my major to Journalism and worked there for nine years.  While I was there, I learned most of what I know about video production.  Rock Chalk Video Productions (RCVP) produces over 100 live events each year including all football, men's and women's basketball and baseball games; plus the Kansas Relays and Commencement.  RCVP also produces The Kansas Football Show, The Bill Self Show and The Bonnie Henrickson Show.
